This webpage is dedicated to my 1969 AMC Ambassador SST. This is my first car, and it needs a little TLC. At the moment it runs very well, but needs some body work, and general maitenence. As you see up above is a picture I took of it recently. I dont know a whole lot about this car, but I put the general information I know about it. I currently live here in Turlock, CA. My father and I picked up this beauty up in Merced, CA. It appears that this car's possible orgin was up in Oregon, since the owner we bought it from left the business card for the auction that he picked it up from, so this car has made it a long way. My intentions are to get this baby mechanically sound before the upcoming school year starts, as I will get my license then. Right now the car has some minor leaks, it looks like the oil pan gasket needs to be replaced, and the transmission pump needs to be rebuilt or replaced as that leaks also. I recently replaced some of the radiator hoses, as they were kinda breaking down. There are still some more hoses that I will need to replace. The tires have some life left in them, but probably will need to be replaced next summer. I just wanted to share this unique find with you out there.

Maitenence Update:

Sunday, April 17, 2005 – Replaced all the radiator hoses. Flushed radiator, added new fluid. Added new power steering fluid.

March, 2005 – Replaced heater hoses, changed oil.
